"Reimagining the Dining Room: A Modern Masterpiece"

Our goal was to transform the traditional dining room into a versatile, engaging space that reinvents its role in the modern home. This expansive room hosted three sub-areas: a twelve-seat dining area, a cozy cocktail lounge with plush seating, and a multi-functional table for intimate meals, games, or high tea.

Every element in the room was designed as a work of art, blending storytelling with comfort. Walls were upholstered in Italian fabric with grey and red tones, paired with silver-toned parquet flooring. The ceiling featured layers of fabric and a hand-painted mural, with indirect lighting to create a balanced ambiance.

Central to the design was an incredible table crafted from a 48,000-year-old Kauri tree, complemented by an Art Nouveau Chinese rug. A stunning nature-inspired chandelier with Murano crystal droplets illuminated the room, accompanied by a smaller Murano glass chandelier and gemstone pendant fixtures.

Artistic accents included a silver Octopus sculpted by Lorenzo Foglia, paintings by Lisa Baldwin, Alexander Sastoque, and Julie Markfield, alongside a harp and an Italian luxury trolley, adding both functionality and flair.

Fine Venetian China and unique tableware, custom pillows, and Liberty-style draperies enriched the space, while layered Roman shades provided texture and elegance.

This design seamlessly blended art, luxury, and versatility, creating a warm, inviting environment that redefined the dining room as a central, cherished part of the home.
