Overview

Brandy Lauer has been an Interior Designer and Project Manager for Shane McFarland Construction since 2012. Their team has worked on many homes in The Grove in Williamson County, developed a neighborhood of 110 homes in Murfreesboro, a community of 86 townhomes also in Murfreesboro, and built many custom homes and commercial businesses over the years.  Brandy works hand-in-hand with each of their clients creating their “Dream Homes and Businesses”, and works along side the site project managers and vendors in making sure everything is designed, ordered, and installed to the design detail of each client.  

Prior to her time with Shane McFarland Construction, Brandy graduated from MTSU with a B.S. in Interior Design in December, 1999.  She then worked with Sorci & Swords Design in Nashville, Tennessee in Commercial Design from 2000-2005.  While her children were young, Brandy had her own business of Residential Design that included a Workroom for custom draperies and bedding from 2005-2012.  

In April of 2023, Brandy was certified with NCIDQ testing.  With waiting this long, it was a challenge to finally take this national certification test, as many things have changed since her early days in the Commercial Design business.  But she was successful in her first attempt.  That was a huge accomplishment for her, a goal that she had set many years back!!  Her success also shows her level of commitment and knowledge in this industry.

Brandy loves working closely with homeowners and business owners to see their dreams come to life.  She takes her job and position very seriously, and will always be there throughout the project for her clients.
