Transforming Spaces with Award-Winning Interior Design Expertise
An innovative emerging interior designer with a demonstrated history of designing unique furniture pieces and functional spaces. Graduated from the Micheal Grave College at Kean University in May 2023 with a B.F.A. Bachelor of Fine Arts in interior design, and also a graduate of Brookdale Community College with an A.A.S. Associate in Applied Science in interior design in 2021. Completed courses in textiles and materials in interior design, Auto Cad, Revit, public speaking, hand drafting, hand rendering, Sketchup 3D modeling, elements and principles of design, Rhino 3D CAD, and interior design studios. Personal skills that helped me stand out during my education were hard-working, staying organized, managing time while working on multiple projects, being consistently passionate about design especially creating curvilinear pieces of furniture, and always being willing to help students and classmates.
Joining organizations like ASID helped me to stay updated in the interior design industry. Besides that, becoming a board member of Brookdale’s interior design association, IDSA, benefited my social networking and allowed me to meet new people as part of organizing events. One of my great achievements as a student was designing a residential condo for a Japanese couple, following ADA standards to accommodate the husband’s special needs. I was awarded the ASID 2019 Design Excellence Award; student category; for its residential design solution.
