Franklin Preservation Associates embodies the quintessence of interior design, focusing on the delicate art of turning living spaces into personal sanctuaries. At the helm of this visionary venture stands Susan, a Tennessee Registered Interior Designer with credentials including ASID and LEED AP. She brings a profound passion for transformation, honed by her experiential pedigree—rooted in a family legacy of house renovation and inspired by her own mother's creative flair. Susan's academic journey weaves through the University of Louisville and culminates at O’More College of Design, further enriched by a Masters of Arts from Middle Tennessee State University. Specializing in the metamorphosis of existing homes, particularly kitchens and baths, Susan’s expertise was sharpened during her tenure at a premier Nashville kitchen and bath showroom. Beyond the practical, she's an ardent advocate for design education, contributing as an instructor and guest lecturer, and believes in forging deep connections with clients to craft bespoke spaces that resonate with their unique sense of home.
Complementing Susan’s expertise is Sadie, a creative force in her own right with a rich heritage in construction. With roots in Utah where she began her academic exploration, Sadie relocated to Tennessee to finalize her interior design education at O’More College of Design. Her specialization spans the spectrum of custom home design, from the nascent stage of concept creation to the tangible realities of construction documentation. Understanding the intimate relationship between space and inhabitant, Sadie’s experience is anchored in a familial tradition of contractors and construction management. This knowledge, coupled with her imaginative spirit, allows her to infuse custom furniture and architectural details into her projects, innovatively crafted alongside her husband. Franklin Preservation Associates stands not only as a firm but as a collaborative sanctuary for ideas, where homeowners' visions are nurtured, expanded, and impeccably realized.
