Lindy Lowney is a Rhode Island-based ASID Allied residential interior designer and stylist. Her path to design began early in life with a passion for art and architecture. Those interests, combined with a love of color, textiles and furniture, led Lindy to study interior design at East Carolina University in North Carolina.

After receiving her bachelor's degree, she launched her career in Rhode Island where she worked for one of the leading lighting manufacturers, Phillips Lightolier. It was with Lightolier that Lindy trained heavily in both the technical aspects of lighting as well as the nuance of application. Her role centered on educating specifiers and contractors about lighting techniques. After Lightolier, Lindy went on to work in the high-end residential home furnishings and decor industry in both management and design roles, including with Restoration Hardware.

For nearly 20 years, Lindy has styled and designed residential homes in southern New England and beyond. She prides herself on a coastal aesthetic which stems from an upbringing at the Jersey Shore as well as her studies in North Carolina and Rhode Island. Her attention to detail, eye for color and modern coastal influences are evident in her work.
