Transform Your historic Home into a Reflection of Your Unique Vision with Expert Interior Design Solutions

I’m a passionate designer who loves breathing new life into historic homes. I blend thoughtful preservation with modern function, creating spaces that honor each home’s unique character while fitting seamlessly into your lifestyle. From structural transformations to the final touches, I take care of every detail to help you start a new chapter in your home’s story.

I’m absolutely in my element bringing historic homes back to life with fresh, functional beauty! My heart beats for the soul of older homes—Craftsmans, Adobes and charming mid-century spaces—where every detail tells a story, and every update enhances that character. My clients are passionate about preserving the bones of these classic homes but also crave a modern, livable design.

Imagine walking into a 1911 Craftsman I’ve transformed: the layout now flows seamlessly, the light fills every corner, and each material choice respects the home’s era while adding comfort and functionality. From the tiling and custom cabinetry in the kitchen to the unique, hand-selected fixtures and even the perfect drapes, my team and I oversee every last detail.

I love construction projects where I take a home from concept to completion, ensuring every part—from furniture placement to the final styling of accessories—aligns with my client’s vision. I’m especially excited when clients trust me to design spaces that make sense for modern living, without losing an ounce of charm. This is where my expertise shines: creating timeless, character-rich spaces that honor a home’s history while making it feel like a sanctuary for today.

The design inspiration for the laundry room began with the beautiful encaustic-look bohemian hexagon porcelain tile from Garden State Tile. The color scheme was influenced by the beech toffee-colored transitional beveled shaker cabinetry from US Cabinet Depot, complemented by contemporary Emtek hardware. When dealing with a laundry room that has large soffits housing the HVAC system, consider highlighting them by color blocking to turn them into a striking architectural feature. For exposed plumbing and gas lines, paneling the machines and the surrounding area can create a cleaner look. For durability and easy maintenance, Silestone quartz countertops with a Calcutta look were chosen, featuring a simple mitered edge and a 6-inch backsplash. The Nantucket sink, ideal for tasks like making wine, was selected for its longevity and warm tones that blend seamlessly with the countertops. To enhance functionality, a hands-free chrome Kohler faucet was installed. Behind the sink, a herringbone tile-look vinyl wallpaper was chosen for easy cleanup. To accommodate the hands-free faucet, an outlet was added under the sink. In the broom closet, an interior outlet was added to house the vacuum out of sight. Finally, the room was completed with a unique semi-mount transparent light fixture from Hudson Valley, adding a touch of sparkle to the space. The collection of Mediterranean pottery sounds like the perfect finishing touch, adding personal and unique element to the space.
